Jeannie Gilliam is a new artist with inspirational, soothing and relaxing music. This album has been a lifelong dream for this artist and she has been writing inspirational songs for over 30 years with these unique songs being her favorites. Her Producer, Dwayne Russell helped every step of the process on this album and pushed Jeannie to excel to be her best on each and every song and added much of his creativity.

     You will be delighted to hear the variety of songs from Celtic songs with musicians from Nashville, acoustic guitar played by Philip Bardowell who toured with the Beach Boys, to soothing melodic tunes with the mandolin and cello, and also war songs with African drumbeats. Many talented musicians came together to help Jeannie Gilliam with the background instrumentals. She sang all the vocals for this album and also wrote all the songs on it.

    The 1st song, "Amazed," has a Celtic sound with musicians from Nashville playing Irish bagpipes, fiddle, button accordion, and an Irish whistle. The acoustic guitar on some of the songs features a former lead guitarist who went on tour with the Beach Boys. His name is Philip Bardowell. He is very talented and an awesome musician!!!

     The sounds of the mandolin on the song,” Precious Blood," will cause you to sing along with the catchy chorus, and the song, "Amazed" will also be just as memorable. The song, "Rain on me" is very melodic., with cello and acoustic guitar played skillfully by Jeannie's niece Erin Mulvihill and also Philip Bardowell. The last song on the album, "Hungry Heart" features an African drummer named Steven Osi with sounds similar to some of the songs from "The Lion King" that make you want to dance...

     If you are looking for a "new sound" take your shoes off, get comfortable and take some time to listen...

     In October 2009,Jeannie Gilliam was on LA Talk Radio with DJ-- Cameron Datzker and will be on again on Dec. 11th at 8pm.
