ONE4FIVE... A Rap Group of 2 young brothers; Julien aka JEWLZ, and Jemelle aka MEL utilizing our unorthodox proportions in writing, producing, & portraying hip-hop culture through our music.
While developing into young men and learning from our favorite artists such as: DMX, Mos Def, Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Bow Wow, Backstreet Boys, Luther Vandross, Alicia Keys and much, much more. One4Five was enticed with the idea of utilizing the HIP HOP element to bring forth their desire to inspire while making sure the listener is having a good time.
"We take a page from everyday life and make it into a song. That's why most people can relate to our music on ANY level. One day we can make a song about how we keep it 'Ghetto Fresh' by gearing up to go to a party or finding out that someone we know is suffering from AIDS. We take these experiences, ideas and thoughts; develop a beat and write lyrics to reflect the moments.
ONE4FIVE takes a club, a party and even the APOLLO by storm. Chasing that one moment in time when our voices are heard all over the world, spreading our words and our unique sound is One4Five's ultimate challenge.
"Our passion for creating music grew step-by-step and as we continue to climb, reaching level to level so will our music. THE BEST PART IS THAT WE'RE STILL CLIMBING".
"Keep us in your prayers as we continue our Journey."
