MARK MORRISON, dubbed ‘the bad boy of British pop music’ by the media, finally gets his revenge with the upcoming release of a new single INNOCENT MAN featuring rap star DMX, to be followed by his long-awaited new comeback album of the same name, INNOCENT MAN, which will firmly and justifiably place his music back on the U.S. charts, and reclaim his undisputed crown as Britain’s most important and innovative black music artist.

The album also reflects the respect Morrison holds within the R&B/Hip Hop community and American artists, as the album sees him collaborate with some huge players in this area, such as DMX, Elephant Man, Adina Howard, Alexander O’Neal and Daz Dillinger. With 17 new recordings, including Dance 4 Me, Just A Man, Blackstabbers and Innocent Man, the album solidly reinstates Mark as a major songwriter and performer, displaying a new maturity that will ensure worldwide success for him.

MARK MORRISON was the most successful British R&B singer of the 90’s. His breakthrough single RETURN OF THE MACK became a Top Ten hit worldwide in 1996, and opened the U.S market for him the following year, where the record achieved platinum status and reached number 2 in the charts. Morrison also sold over 2 million records in the U.S., a real triumph for a British urban artist. Although he became a commercial success nearly overnight, Morrison’s career was plagued by run-ins with the law that prevented him from consolidating his position as a superstar. This however did not stop him from receiving a MERCURY PRIZE nomination, an MTV EUROPE award nomination, 4 BRIT AWARD nominations and 5 MOBO nominations, of which he won BEST RnB ACT.
